In January 2003 the Multimar Wattforum expanded by 600 square meters a new whale exhibit. The new permanent exhibition „Whale, Wadden and World Ocean“ makes the visitor submerge into the world of whales. |  | The world of wales
Here, you see everything about the Harbor Porpoise, the only whale of the North Atlantic who is resident in the National Park and his large relatives in the world oceans.
The main attraction is the 17.5-meter long skeleton of a sperm whale that was stranded in 1997. | 157 individual bones
What is more, one side of the whale’s body has been modeled as a life-like plastic shell.
This captures near-perfectly the body shape of the whale.
